Job Descriptions

  • As the front desk administrator you will be the first point of contact for the Medi Spa. You will support day-to-day operations and will be responsible for numerous administrative tasks in the front of office, including many client-facing responsibilities. Consequently, we are looking for a person with the ability to multitask, who has exceptional communication skills, who can provide excellent customer service, and has genuine desire to do their best work!

    Education and Experience:

    1.) Graduation from high school or GED equivalent required.

    2.) One or more years of experience involving direct communication with the public.

    3.) Experience with handling a multi-line phone system and experience working a check out system preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    1.) Greet clients warmly upon arrival, determine needs, and ensure they get escorted to the appropriate care of other staff members as appropriate.

    2.) Confirm with each client upon every visit that their information on file is accurate and up-to-date. Accurately record updates and corrections as needed.

    3.) Responsible for answering questions in person and by telephone.

    4.) Responds to inquiries from employees, clients, and others are refers (when necessary) to the appropriate person and/or department.

    5.) Scheduling client appointments.

    6.) Develops and maintains office forms and procedures and assists with administrative tasks such as EMR assistance.

    7.) Performs other duties and assumes various responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.

  • Our ideal candidate should be able to complete full patient skin assessments, have knowledge surrounding laser and aesthetic treatments, and feel comfortable making aesthetic recommendations. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication. Ensures patient is satisfied with elective skin care products and services.

    Education and Experience:

    1.) High school diploma; college degree preferred.

    2.) Two years experience in a medical office working as an aesthetician.

    Responsibilities:

    1.) Primary duties:

    • Provides patients with complimentary consultations regarding skincare services.

    • Determines patient skincare goals and objectives and recommends products and services that can reasonably facilitate attainment of those goals.

    • Seeks advice and supervision of physician as required on treatment protocols and notifies the physician of any patient noncompliance.

    • Responsible for the coordination of any correspondence to patients regarding their skin care treatment plan, product usage, or home care instructions.

    • Maintains patient medical records detailing all treatment procedures, elective products, medication history, and educational materials received.

    2.) Secondary duties:

    • Monitors equipment to ensure proper operation and maintains said equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines,

    • Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards.

    • Participates and attends in-service educational programs and staff meetings.

    • Tracks referral sources, sends thank-you letters to the source, and posts consultation letters to the patient.

    • Maintains inventory tracking system for retail and professional products.

    • Orders and stocks inventory and supplies as needed for maintaining treatment rooms and retail areas.

  • Responsible for providing elective care for cosmetic complaints that can be reasonably treated with injection procedures. You will also be required to assess patients for their suitability for non-surgical treatments such as dermal fillers, laser hair removal, or chemical skin treatments. Duties include taking medical histories, performing examinations, and developing treatment administration as directed by their supervising physician.

    Education and Experience:

    1.) Five years of experience in a medical office as an R.N.

    2.) Graduate of accredited nursing program with current state license.

    Responsibilities:

    1.) Primary duties:

    • Provides direct patient care as a representative of the physician, treating the patient in a style or manner developed and directed by the supervising physician and consistent with the authorized practice as defined by state law.

    • Delivers care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines that are developed by the physician and R.N. and based on physician’s delegatory style.

    • Limits involvement in the assessment and implementation of treatment to agreed upon procedures including but not limited to injection therapy, taking into consideration their training, experience, and preparation of the R.N.

    • Tracks referral sources, sends thank you letters to the source, and dictates consultation letters to the patient.

    • Responsible for the coordination of retention correspondence to patients regarding their follow-up treatment plan.

    • Maintains the patient medical records detailing all treatment procedures, medication history, and educational matters distributed.

    2.) Secondary duties:

    • Confirms with patients their clear understanding that a registered nurse is treating them.

    • Review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis, as well mutually agreed guidelines for the practice.

    • Clarifies and familiarizes all issues related to supervision methods and style of delegating patient care with the supervising physician.

    • Maintain treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards.

    • Maintains inventory-tracking system for all injectable products. Orders and stocks inventory supplies as needed.

  • Responsible for assisting the aesthetic team in patient care including patient evaluations, assisting with select procedures, and ensure quality care. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans and medication, nursing procedures and lab requisition documents.

    Education and Experience:

    1.) High school diploma; college degree preferred.

    2.) Five years of experience in a medical office or medical spa working as a medical assistant.

    Responsibilities:

    1.) Primary duties:

    • Escorts patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times. Perform initial patient evaluation and establishes treatment plan. Ensures patient understands the treatment plan, understands the proper use of medications, understands their responsibility for compliance with the treatment plan prior to leaving the office.

    • Straightens and cleans exam rooms after patient visits.

    • Completely and correctly fills out required pathology and laboratory requisition of documents for patients as required by physician. Provides clinical staff with completed documents for data entry.

    2.) Secondary duties:

    • Stocks all exam rooms.

    • Performs all duties related to medical instrument cleaning and sterilization.

    • Notifies clinical staff of supplies to avoid shortages.

    • Performs other duties and tasks as needed.

  • Responsible for performing cosmetic procedures for patients using specialized laser equipment or other aesthetic devices including Coolsculpt. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating the skin care concerns of a client, conferring with a medical doctor or another supervisor to develop the best treatment plan, applying the laser treatment, and documenting patients’ charts. This role requires working as part of a team to improve the health and self-esteem of a client. Great customer service skills are required for this occupation as well as attention to detail and the willingness to consistently pursue training to stay current as cosmetic laser technology advances.

    Education and Experience:

    1.) Possess previous training on aesthetic devices or ability to train on said devices.

    2.) A minimum of one year of experience in laser hair removal and intense pulsed light treatments.

    3.) Experience with body shaping devices (Vela shape, Profound).

    4.) Experience with ablative/co2 lasers and aftercare.

    5.) Experience with micro-needling devices and procedures.

  • Contractual Licensed Massage Therapist

    We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our successful med spa team! The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a wellness team. Pay will be contractual pay and you will receive a Form 1099-NEC at year-end.

    Massage Therapist Job Responsibilities:

    • Performs professional quality massage, within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).

    • Designs specific sessions based on members or guest individual needs.

    • Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.

    • Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.

    • Performs hot stone, deep muscle, or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours.

    • Collaborate with other spa professionals to ensure a seamless and integrated client experience.

    • Communicates various promotions to clients.

    • Follows all practice policies and protocols.

    • Assists in the cleanliness of the location (therapy rooms and common areas).

    • Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.

    • Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of

    • Adherence to all applicable local and state licensing laws and

    regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License

    • Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities

    • Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork

    • Satisfactory results of background and reference check is a condition of employment in this position
