Amy A. Vaughan, M.D.
Dr. Vaughan established Amy Vaughan Dermatology, PLLC, in 2006, in an effort to provide superior skin care and bring the latest technology and techniques in adult and pediatric dermatology to the Tristate region. She is highly regarded as an authority in general and cosmetic dermatology by both patients and fellow dermatologists in the Tristate area with over 20 years of experience.
Ben Moosavi, M.D.
Dr. Ben Moosavi established Ultimate Plastic Surgery in 2013 and has earned a growing reputation in our Tristate area as the go-to surgeon for all your plastic and reconstructive surgery needs. He has been voted best in the Tristate by the Herald Dispatch community for eight years in a row for the safe, top-notch care he provides in plastics, aesthetics and reconstructive surgery. His knowledge, respect and compassion for his patients is unmatched in his field—with good reason too.
Denise Russell, FNP, Nurse Practitioner
Denise completed her BSN in 2005 and became a board-certified nurse practitioner in 2010. Denise has worked with Dr. Moosavi since 2016 and is a certified laser operator, laser safety officer, as well as a certified neurotoxin and filler injector. She loves to see each patient reach their goals and gain confidence through their aesthetic journey. During her downtime, Denise enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters.
Katie Davis, FNP, Nurse Practitioner
Katie Davis, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with 8 years of cutting-edge expertise in plastic surgery and 4 years of mastery in injectables. With her dynamic background working alongside Dr. Moosavi, Katie seamlessly merges artistry with precision, sculpting beauty in both the operating room and clinical practice. During her down time, Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves learning and growing in all areas of her life; professionally, personally and spiritually.
Shannon Gibson, RN, Nurse Injector
Shannon graduated from St. Mary’s nursing program through Marshall University with an associate degree in Nursing and has been injecting for seven years. She has attended multiple Allergan Master Classes and thrives on learning new injection techniques to offer to her patients. Shannon also loves establishing a connection with her patients to help them feel their very best not only on the outside but also within. During her downtime, she enjoys time with family and friends, but loves watching her children participate in all their sports.
Teri Steele, LPN, Nurse Injector
Teri has been a nurse for over 20 years with 13 years as a nurse injector. Some of her advanced hands-on trainings have been on sclerotherapy, PDO threads, advanced injectable application for neurotoxin and dermal filler injections, Bio Identical Hormone Replacement and advanced Ultherapy. What Teri loves most is seeing her patients’ reactions when they look into the mirror after injections and the tears of joy are what fulfills her the most. During her downtime, she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their two children and their families.
Ashli Dyer, Practice Administrator
Ashli brings over thirteen years of administration experience to The RETREAT. Her background in accounting administration and customer service made her an excellent choice to lead the premier destination for aesthetic medical treatments in the region. In Ashli's world, providing exceptional customer service means creating a relaxing and transformative experience while also fostering lasting client relationships built on trust and genuine care. In Ashli's downtime, you can find her practicing yoga, taking cycling classes or hanging out with her family and friends.
Sarah Massey, Marketing Director
Sarah Massey received an undergraduate degree in business and marketing and a master’s degree in business. She has worked alongside Dr Moosavi at ULTIMATE Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery since 2015 serving as Marketing Coordinator. At The Retreat, in addition to Marketing Director, Sarah will serve as an advocate to represent Dr Vaughan and Dr Moosavi’s beliefs for their professional, innovative, and cutting-edge aesthetic center. In her downtime she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children and 2 French Bulldogs .

Christy Harper, Body Contouring Specialist
Christy has been a dedicated medical assistant since 2005, with over a decade of her experience focused on aesthetic treatments. She is a body contouring specialist and a certified laser technician, known for her exceptional bedside manner and passion for patient care. Christy thrives on witnessing transformations and helping clients feel more confident in their own skin, taking pride in educating patients with her extensive knowledge.

Kelsi Gurski, Licensed Aesthetician
Kelsi is a licensed aesthetician who completed her aesthetics education at Huntington School of Beauty Culture. With her extensive training in nutrition, skincare, bacteriology, massage techniques, and more, Kelsi brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. She loves working with patients to create custom treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals, helping them feel confident and radiant in their skin.
At The Retreat, Kelsi offers personalized facial services, lash and brow services, and other advanced aesthetic treatments designed to enhance her patients’ natural beauty and well-being.

Robin Falbo, Medical Assistant
Robin is a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant with 20+ years of medical experience. Since starting at The Retreat, Robin has become an essential part of prepping the patients for their Bio Identical Hormone Replacement procedure. Robin’s favorite part of her job is connecting with her patients and watching their transformations. When she is not at work, you can find her throwing the ball to her boxer Bourbon, or playing with her 5 grandchildren!
Marisa Hush, Medical Assistant
Marisa is a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant with 25 years of experience in OBGYN, Ophthalmology, and 18 years in Family Medicine. Married to her childhood sweetheart, she's a proud mother and stepmother. Marisa enjoys annual beach trips with friends, family time, and is obsessed with her three Basset hounds. She loves the one-on-one connection with patients and is excited to start her journey in aesthetics helping people feel better about themselves.
Bret Masters, Massage Therapist
Bret is our Licensed Massage Therapist at the Retreat. He earned his Associate’s degree in Massage Therapy from Mountwest College. A native of Huntington, Bret took his skill, talent, and charm on a worldwide journey. Most recently, he traveled to England and completed his training at the London Wellness Academy, where his accomplishments qualified him to work in the cruise ship industry. Bret’s holistic and personalized massages were popular amongst guests wanting to decompress and rejuvenate as they traveled throughout the islands of Hawaii. As a runner and professional athlete, Bret understands sore muscles and can help athletes of any level reduce their recovery time. Bret is blessed to be back in WV helping the people in his community.
Jacqueline Sites, Customer Concierge Lead
Jacqueline has a Bachelor degree from Marshall University. She loves to make people feel good about themselves and developing a close patient relationship. During her downtime she likes to be with her family, best friends, take care of her plants, and read books.
Brittney Ardoin, Customer Concierge
With over 13 years of customer service experience and more than 5 years in the cosmetics industry, Brittney brings a wealth of expertise to The Retreat. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and empowering them to become the best version of themselves. Outside of work, Brittney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, traveling, and expressing her creativity.
