SkinMedica Illuminze Peel® for mild skin imperfections
The Illuminize Peel® helps to brighten the overall appearance of skin with minimal downtime. It reduces visible signs of aging, including the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, and pigmentary irregularities.
This peel is ideal for first-time patients or patients looking for quick skin enhancement (no visible peeling expected). Based on a study from SkinMedica (20 patients), 80% of patients agreed to improved smoothness and texture of skin and 75% agreed to improved skin condition overall. Multiple treatments may be required to achieve desired results. For maximum results, the Illuminize Peel® can be received every two weeks until desired results are achieved. Results are cumulative and optimal benefits are seen with a series of three or more peels. The number of treatments recommended is based off each individual’s initial level of skin damage.

The Vitalize Peel® is the most popular SkinMedica chemical peel. Combining Vitalize Peel® with SkinMedica specialty products, such as Lytera® 2.0 Pigment Correcting Serum can help achieve optimal results.
This peel will smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, roughness, sun damage, acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and melasma. Noticeable results are seen after just one peel, however results vary with each individual. Three to six peels may be required to achieve compelling results that meet the patients desired outcome. Vitalize Peel® treatments can be repeated every 3-4 weeks. The number of treatments recommended is based off each individual’s initial level of skin damage.
