What is the MOXI™ procedure like?

Sciton MOXI™ is a virtually painless experience. Most patients do not require numbing cream, although it is available upon request. After donning safety glasses, your laser operator aesthetician will roll the delivery tip over your skin, working in small sections to ensure they don't miss a spot. You may feel prickly heat or snapping as MOXI™ passes over your skin. The procedure takes 15 to 30 minutes depending on the size and number of treated area(s). Following your treatment, you are free to resume your normal routine.

What is MOXI™ recovery like?

Since MOXI™ is gentle and non-invasive, there is little to no downtime. You can resume most daily activities immediately without restriction. Tingling, redness, and dryness may occur. These effects should quickly subside. For the first three to five days following your treatment, your skin may peel. This is natural and allows your newer, healthier skin to thrive.  We recommend staying out of the sun for a minimum of 2 weeks post treatment.
